Warren Inwood
Crop Science division of Bayer
Warren Inwood is Managing Director for the Crop Science division of Bayer in Australia and New Zealand.
Warren studied an Associate Diploma of Applied Science and Farm Management at Charles Sturt University. After graduating, he worked as an agronomist at National Mutual Rural Enterprises for five years before moving to South Africa to manage an AgrEvo Field research station. Following four years in South Africa, Warren moved to Frankfurt, Germany to be the AgrEvo Development Manager before moving to France to work for Aventis CropScience as the Global Product Development Manager.
In 2002, Warren joined Bayer as a Global Product Manager in Portfolio Management based in Monheim, Germany. In 2007, he was appointed Market Development Manager for Asia Pacific and moved to Singapore. After four years working in Singapore, Warren made his way home and was appointed Head of Marketing for Australia in 2011. In 2014, Warren became Head of Sales for Australia and New Zealand. In 2022, Warren was appointed Managing Director for the Crop Science division in Australia and New Zealand.
Warren is passionate about Bayer’s long-term commitment to agriculture in Australia and its strong investment into local agriculture across its manufacturing, field teams and innovation pipeline.
