Sakura Flow Herbicide

Sakura Flow is a convenient 480 SC liquid formulation that offers the same infield performance as Sakura 850 WG for pre-emergent control of key weeds including annual ryegrass, barley grass, annual phalaris, silver grass and toad rush in wheat (except durum wheat), triticale, chickpeas, field peas and lupins. It also provides suppression of brome grass (Bromus diandrus only) and wild oats. Available in quality, user friendly packaging in a range of pack sizes.

Sakura Flow liquid formulation delivers excellent pre-emergent ryegrass control in western Victoria

Sakura Flow, a new liquid formulation from Bayer, has delivered leading pre-emergent annual ryegrass control for Western Victorian farmer Bill Walker in trials during the 2019 season. Farming in a high rainfall zone at Wickliffe, ryegrass management is critical for Bill, and he has found Sakura Flow delivers the same great performance as granular Sakura, but with added flexibility of formulation choice. 
Farm Manager Austin Rayner took the opportunity to trial a new liquid version of the popular pre-emergent herbicide, Sakura®, on the EF Smart Pty Ltd property near Nabawa in the northern wheatbelt this season and it has proven a seamless transition.

Easy transition to liquid form of Sakura

Ben and Emily Webb from “Marbarrup Farms”, a mixed cropping & livestock operation at Kojonup, in the Southern Wheatbelt of WA, talk about being long-time users of Sakura® herbicide. Ben discusses how he uses Sakura, in conjunction with other IWM practices, to keep on top of ryegrass in wheat.
A switch to trialing the new liquid formulation of the benchmark pre-emergent herbicide, Sakura® this season has delivered the same good results for annual ryegrass control at the Duane family farm near Mingenew.
