Roberts Campbell Town and the Crop Science division of Bayer have donated $1,000 to the Campbell Town Football Club through the iGiveLocal Community Support Program.

Now in its fourth year, the iGiveLocal Program has to date donated over $100,000 to more than 190 local causes around the country.
The cheque was proudly presented by Rob Withers -Roberts Campbell Town Branch Manager- to David Nicolson, Geoff Ashman and John Fitzallen of Campbell Town Football Club. Also, in attendance was Alistair Beyer representing Bayer.
The football club in Campbell Town has a very strong tradition and is the heart of the local community. Unfortunately, over the past few years the club has struggled both financially and in its ability to attract young and local players. However, this season a new committee has taken over and brought new ideas that are both reinvigorating the club and reconnecting with the community.
Rob Withers said: “We’re really proud to be able to contribute to the local football club. They are now getting the young local guys into the club, teaching them life skills along with football skills. They are also attracting some of the good local talent back, who had drifted away to other clubs. This money will assist in the fit out of the new club rooms- due for completion later in 2019- which will be used by the whole community and not just the football club. A win all-round“.
Alistair Beyer adds: “It’s great to see some new life being pumped back into a local community club. Partnering with Roberts Campbell Town we’re pleased to be a part of this“.
