Now in its third year, the iGiveLocal Program has to date donated over $100,000 to 190 local causes around the country.

The cheque was proudly presented to school representative Janette Hindmarsh by Glen Bergersen from Bayer and Tom McInerney and Sacha Williams from Primaries. Sacha said “We receive a lot of support from the Borden community, so it’s nice to give something back through the iGiveLocal program. This donation will be a big help for the school of 22 students, as fundraising for this type of donation can be quite difficult and time consuming. The school intends to put the money towards computer technology for student use.”

The iGiveLocal Community Support Program is a joint initiative of Bayer CropScience Pty Ltd and Combined Rural Traders (CRT). In 2018, Bayer will donate $30,000 to a variety of deserving local community groups across Australia.
